Roses for Everyday

Valentine's Day RosesValentine's Day RosesI received these roses from my husband for Valentine's Day. Due to the winter storm that closed down a lot of roads around Atlanta, I didn't receive them until the day after Valentine's. They were still beautiful and a week later, they are still gorgeous. Some people may not see me as a sentimentalist, but there is something about flowers that just brighten my day. I guess it's the spectacular colors they exude. I love color!

Color just naturally draws attention to itself. What's even more amazing about flowers is how their colors are expressed on such delicate and fragile elements as pedals. They can hold up through formidable downpours and wicked winds, but you can easily tear a pedal with your fingertips. It's a dichotomic relationship between fragility and strength, yet together they can bring such joy as it opens up with the warmth of the sun to reveal it's many layers of beauty. Just taking a deep breath of a rose's fragrance just naturally relaxes me. Maybe flowers are God's natural aromatherapy. Works for me!

Why not have these flowers brightening your day by having them printed on a gallery canvas wrap, as a framed print, a fotoflot, a metal print or on textured glass? Check out my website to see how easily you can afford some natural color on your wall.
