"I just reviewed (my daughter's) senior pictures and I could not be happier with the results!
You did a wonderful job of looking for the perfect locations, I loved your ideas. Your eye for background and light were perfect. I love how you asked what our ideas were and what we were looking for and found the perfect settings.
Thank you for being patient and fun to work with. I knew you would help to put my daughter at ease and bring out her personality. I love the shots of her giggling. You captured her beauty inside and out.
I have been telling everyone who will listen what a great time we had and how much I love the pictures."

Capturing your high school senior (See "Senior Portrait Gallery" ) in pictures is such a great opportunity to feature the various facets of your teen's personality. I love taking pictures of teens at this pivotal stage in their lives. They are excited about what's ahead of them, but still a little bit apprehensive. After years of working with teens, I'm able to help them relax, feel comfortable and enjoy their photo session. The best way to see their personality is when they feel they can be themselves. Part of my approach to help them relax is interviewing them a week or so before the photo shoot to find out who they are and what they want their photographs to reveal about themselves. Their participation in the decision-making process gives them "buy-in" to the whole photo session, and they feel like it's their photo session, not their just a photo session their parents want.
Location and Time of Day Swinging Her Own WayHaving some fun during the photo session makes the pictures you get even better!
I have places where I like to photograph portraits, but I'm always open to other photo session locations, if you or your teen has some ideas. Whether your teen is looking for a park, rural, urban and historic location, I have a location in mind. The best location is the location your teen loves the most! The best time to photograph is very early morning or early evening before dusk, (specific time depends on time of year). I have photo sessions available during most weekday evenings, Saturdays and an occasional Sunday afternoon.
Your soon-to-be graduate should bring clothing that is comfortable and they feel confident wearing. Confidence is always attractive in portraits. Colorful clothing in solids are best, but clothing with small prints or patterns that bring out your teen's personality are also good. Avoid bright or neon colors that detract from the most important subject -- your son or daughter!
